Radar Screamer

The Radar Screamer enhances the feeble audio warning signal produced by radar detectors so that the motorcycle rider is better able to hear the warning while at speed. No earphones and no helmet wiring is required. All Radar Screamer components are water proof and remain on the bike allowing the rider maximum freedom.  To enhance reliability the Radar Screamer is powered from the bike's electrical system and does not depend on tiny replaceable batteries.

A special interface module drives a 108 dB piezo beeper. Includes 3-position low volume/mute/high volume control switch. Simple plug-and-play installation. Comes with complete installation instructions. Model RS2-V has a 2.5mm audio plug for Valentine* detectors and Bel 946. The model RS2-P has a 3.5mm plug to fit the Escort Redline, Passport^® models 9500ix, 9500i, Passport^® 8500-X50, 8500, Escort^® Solo2, Bel RX65, Bel RX55, Bel Vector 995 and Adaptiv TPX (adapter cable required, item TPX-CBL). Waterproof construction allows the system to withstand weather extremes and remain permanently mounted on the motorcycle.  (* Valentine detectors must be equipped with Valentine remote audio panel.)  See the Radar Screamer page for more info.

Our new Model RS2-S has been specially designed to work with the Beltronics STi Driver radar detector and has a 3.5mm audio plug.

 Radar Screamer Visual Alert Option

The Radar Screamer is well known for it's distinctive audio alert tones that notify the rider that his detector has picked up a radar signal. Now you can add a new visual alert option to your Radar Screamer that can be used by itself or in combination* with the standard audio alert.  The visual alert provides added benefits for riders who listen to their ipods or to comm devices. Our alert component uses six high intensity red LEDs in a compact weather proof package that is easily visible during daylight hours. 

LED light output can be adjusted to High/Low/Off settings using the Radar Screamer control switch.  A 3 foot cord  is provided and plugs into the Radar Screamer interface module. The LED device can be mounted to your instrument panel with the included adhesive backing.  LED measures approx. 1-1/4" L X 7/8" W X 1/4" Th.  The visual alert is compatible with all Radar Screamers.

Radar Screamer Adapter Cable for Adaptiv TPX Radar Detector

This adapter cable allows the Radar Screamer RS2-P audio alert to work with the Adaptiv TPX radar detector.  A spare output jack on the cable maintains the ability to use all Adaptiv accessories. Cost of cable refunded when purchased with Radar Screamer and radar detector.

H.A.R.D.

H.A.R.D. is the acronym for Helmet Assisted Radar Detection - H.A.R.D. is based on 'Line of Sight' theory: placing critical information within your field of vision.

TPX™ Wireless Headset

The Wireless Headset alerts the rider to the presence of the radar or laser signals detected by the Main Console in a safe and effective manner by providing audio beeps through the earphone. It is designed to fit most full or open face helmets with its earphone attaching to the ear-hole or between the linings of the helmet. It is water resistant and is powered by a lithium coin cell battery (included).  Works with TPX radar detector only.

TPX™ Visual Alert

Alerts the rider of the presence of radar or laser signals detected by the main console in a safe and effective manner by providing flashes with its ultra bright LEDs. The LED intensity is easily adjustable from the Main Console to accommodate varying day and night lighting conditions.  Mounts on the motorcycle.  Works with TPX radar detector only.
